Katie Rock joined Rathbun, Cservenyak & Kozol, LLC, as an associate attorney in 2018. Since obtaining her license in 2008, she focused primarily on family law issues such as divorce, custody (now allocation of parental responsibility), and child support. Her practice area has expanded to include probate issues such as the guardianship of disabled adults and minor children. She has experience both negotiating fair settlements and preparing cases for litigation.

Ms. Rock is originally from Lockport, Illinois, and was one of the valedictorians of her high school graduating class. She attended Marquette University and graduated with Honors, majoring in Criminology & Law Studies and minoring in Political Science and Mathematics. She was also employed during law school as a Law Clerk for a solo family law practitioner in Chicago and as a Legal Intern for the Office of the Executive Inspector General for the Agencies of the Illinois Governor, helping investigate allegations of misconduct by government employees. Ms. Rock was actively involved in the Kent Justice Foundation, which is a public interest student organization that works to raise financial support for its Fellowship Program for students who choose to serve not-for-profit legal organizations or in the public sector during law school. She was the co-chair of the annual Spring Auction fundraiser during her final year of school. Ms. Rock added to her academic experience by traveling to Rome for a summer semester through the James E. Beasley School of Law (Temple University).

Before joining Rathbun, Cservenyak & Kozol, LLC, Ms. Rock worked for nearly ten years at an Orland Park firm specializing in divorce, paternity, and child custody litigation.
