Lorien E. Schoenstedt concentrates her practice on public and private business concerns including transactions, entity formation, general counsel representation, and litigation drafting. She uses her background in business management and legislative affairs to understand how her clients' needs can be most effectively accomplished in often complex situations.
Prior to becoming an associate at RCK, Lorien worked at a law firm in Chicago for several years, both as a law clerk and then as an attorney. Her previous legal experience also includes a position as a legislative assistant for a governmental firm, serving as a senate intern assisting Indiana state senators and interning for the Will County Circuit Court.
A sixth-generation Will County resident, Lorien was born and raised in the Joliet/Plainfield area. After graduating from Joliet Catholic Academy, Lorien attended Indiana University and received a bachelor's degree in history and a certificate in business management. She earned her J.D. from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law where she simultaneously earned a certificate in international and comparative law.
In her free time, Lorien enjoys traveling internationally, trying out new restaurants, and watching classic movies.
Lorien is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Will County Bar Association, where she serves as the co-chair of the Young Lawyers Section.
